Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of the late Luther Manning Gaynos and Mary Bacot Gaynos. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Gaynos, Margaret Godfrey, and Estelle Gaynos.
She is survived by her husband Kenny Woods of the home; daughters, Karen and husband Cecil, Sissy LaValley and husband James all of Fayetteville; siblings, Shirley Jackson of Cedar Creek, Faye McClure of Fayetteville; grandchildren, James, Joshua, Brittany, Brandon and Tylier and great grandchild, Baby LaValley.
