Jeremiah Budd

Mr. Jeremiah "Jerry" Budd, 88 of Fayetteville died Wednesday, July 1, 2010 at his home.

He was a Veteran of World War II and a recipient of three Purple Hearts and one Bronze Star.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 1 pm at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel in Hope Mills by Rev. Bobby Bunnells and Rev. Frank R. Dulzer with burial in Parkton Cemetery.

Surviving are one daughter, July C. Brission of Southern Pines; two sons, Malcolm Budd of Fayetteville and Jason Strickland of Fayetteville; one sister Dorothy Johnson of Fayetteville; four grandsons and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation services.
