Jerry Phillips

Jerry W. Phillips 66 of Shannon died July 26, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Quitman, Georgia, he is the son of the late Lynwood and Evangeline Plymale Phillips.

He is survived by his wife; Gail O"Neal Phillips of the home, daughters, Monica Stoudt and husband Greg of Raeford, Jenny Holland and husband Alan of Hope Mills; grandchildren; Austin, Justin, and Logan Stoudt, Ethan and Caleb Holland; sister, Alice Robinson and husband Neyland of Whigham, Georgia.

Mr. Phillips was a wonderful husband, father and Papa. He was a retired army Green Beret and was honored to be a Deacon. He loved to fish and work for the Lord.
