John Campbell

John Albert "Johnny" Campbell of 1914 Crestview Dr. went to his heavenly home on June 10, 2016. He was born in Fayetteville on June 2, 1943, the son of the late Bernard Andrew, Sr. and Maude Wade Campbell.

He was educated in the Fayetteville City Schools and served proudly in the US Air Force.

Johnny was the owner and operator of Master Muffler for many years until his death.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Campbell Nave, brothers: Bernard A. "Jack" Campbell and Raymond "Ray" Elliott Campbell, Sr. and two special nephews: John Elliott Nave and Robert Wade Coats.

Johnny is survived by a sister, Sue Campbell Myers of Candor, NC; children: Tommy Hilburn and Casey Tew, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his former wife, Cathy Autry Parker.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support and messages during his illness. He will be greatly missed.
