John M. Cornett, 64, passed away on Sunday April 17th at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. John was born April 14, 1947 In Middletown OH. He was the son of William Blackburn Cornett & Grace M (Warden) Cornett.

Mr. John M Cornett was an E-8 Retired from the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Brenda (Skipper) Cornett, three daughters , Elizabeth M Garretson & longtime companion Ronnie Schweigert Of Fayettville , Angela L Wilson & Husband Martin Wilson of Dayton OH, Tammy J Price & longtime companion Chris Kwiecien of Fayettville , NC , John Had five grandchildren , Benjamin Mallah of Floridia , John & wife Lisa Schweigert , William Schweigert of Fayetteville NC , Scott Price Of AZ , His only granddaughter Kirstin Smith of Fayetteville & one great granddaughter Alexa Schweigert of Fayetteville. Brothers William & wife Ruby Cornett of Fayetteville, Alford Cornett Of Trenton OH , sister Eleanor & husband George Potts, of Middletown OH .

John was proceeded in death by his mother and father, his wife of 27 years Mary (Roberts) Cornett. His only son John M Cornett Jr., and three sisters and two brothers . John was loved by all who knew him.
