John Jackson

Mr. John Paul Jackson, 56, of 3957 South Main Street, Hope Mills, died Wednesday.

He was a strong, kind and generous man and will be forever loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son Jason Perma Jackson, mother Evelyn Meshaw Jackson, sister Linda Parker, and brother Donald Curtis Jackson.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 pm at the home with private family services to be held.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Nell Jackson; sons John Paul Jackson, II and Joshua Allen Tillman Jackson; father Granville Jackson; brothers William James Jackson and David Phillip Jackson; sisters Carolyn Fetters and Patricia Carter; and grandchildren Ahnica Faith Jackson, Baela Abigail Jackson and Walt Levi Jackson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
