Johnny Mcgee

Johnny McGee, 39 of Hope Mills, died Monday, March 18, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly and son, Gavin Blane of the home; father, Charles McGee, Sr. of Fayetteville; mother, Angela Edge and step-father, Ashley Edge of Fayetteville; a brother, Justin McGee and sister, Jordan McGee both of Hope Mills; grandparents, Thelma McGee of Hope Mills and Richard Harvatin of Fayetteville.

Johnny is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Franklin McGee of Hope Mills, and grandmother, Ila Faye Harvatin of Fayetteville.

Johnny was a loving husband and wonderful father. His greatest achievement was his son Gavin. They spent many hours playing video games. He loved basketball and was a big Carolina fan. He was a kid at heart and enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles and ATV's.

Johnny enjoyed spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his family. He looked forward to getting up early Christmas morning and making sure Santa had come to see Gavin and brought all he had asked for. Family and friends will miss Johnny and cherish memories of time spent together.
