Joy Brown

Joy Annette Brown 68 of Fayetteville died February 15, 2012.



She is the daughter of the late Robert and Verna Dixon King.  She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Alex Grant Brown.



She is survived by her husband, Marvin T. Brown of the home, daughters, Susannah Roman of Berwyn, IL and Jennifer Davis of Rockfish; sons,  David Cunningham and Matthew Cunningham of Raleigh; sisters, Gloria Pottorff of Indianola, Iowa and Peggy Carpenter of Winterset, Iowa; grandchildren, Ralph Roman, III, Victor Roman, Cera Roman, Alexander Roman, Chloe Cunningham, Seth Cunningham, Joshua Jackson, Jas Jackson, and Lindsay Cunningham and two great grandchildren, Vincent Roman and Alexis Jackson.



Mrs. Brown contributed to the Hope Mills Library.  She enjoyed reading mysteries and collecting angels.



A Memorial Service will be held will be held  11:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2012 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills.    A Commital Service  will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Stoney Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
