Karen Pimienta

Karen Sue Pimienta, 64 of Fayetteville, passed away April 18, 2016.

Born in Los Angeles, California, she is the daughter of Cleo and Isabel Towner. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Bobby and Larry Towner.

She is survived by her husband Troy of 37 years; a daughter, Dawn Cook of Fayetteville; a son, John Pimienta of Raleigh; a sister, Judy Engel and husband Jim of Palm Springs, California; four brothers, Steve Towner and wife Becky of Minnesota, Kenny, Ronnie and Michael Towner all of California; and two grand-daughters, Elisa and Elizabeth Romero.

Karen worked at Breezewood Daycare in Hope Mils for more than five years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church. She loved to play solitaire and doing crossword puzzles. She was always willing to help others. On April 22, 2016, Karen and Troy would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary. She now waits in heaven for him to join her where they will be together forever.
