Katherine Lewis

Katherine Conner Lewis went to her forever home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Born on January 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Cpt. Thomas Medlin and Carrie Medlin. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Beatty; and her daughter Deborah Ward.

She was known to many as Granny Kat. Granny Kat was a retired interior decorator for Bullard Furniture. She had many hobbies to include gardening, cross stitching, and taking care of her very beloved pets, Red Dog & her birds Sam and Pretty Bird. Granny Kat had a huge heart for her family.

Granny Kat is survived by her sons, Tommy and Bobby Beatty and was blessed to have 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild. Katherine is also survived by her longtime companion Johnny Tew.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
