Kenneth Douglas Fleming, 68, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, February 5, 2015 in his home.
Born in Grundy County, Virginia, he is the son of the late Arlan and Emma Fleming.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Fleming enjoyed watching wrestling, dirt racing, and Nascar. He was also a collector of old cars and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Mr. Fleming is survived by his wife, Patricia Fleming; three daughters, Laura Fleming of Kentucky, Corrina Grover and significant other Donnie Jernigan, of Parkton, and Pam Fleming of Kentucky; three sons, Kenneth Douglas Fleming, II, of Kentucky, Shannon Moore and wife Paula, and Kendall Fleming and wife Pam Smith, all of Fayetteville; three sisters, Phyllis Martin of Fayetteville, Marlene Moore of Sandusky, Ohio, and Geri Cannon of Virginia; one brother, Larry Fleming, of Hope Mills; ten grandchildren, Heather Lester and significant other Adam McColl, Brittany Moore and significant other Julian Cotton, Clint Lester, Racheal Moore and significant other, Brittany Campbell, Shauna Drumheller and significant other Corey Deboard, Jamie Drumheller, Kendra Fleming, Kerrie Fleming, Samantha Moore, and Kylee Fleming; 6 great-grandchildren, Nathan Moore, Jeremiah Cotton, Trinatie Cotton, Charles Cotton, Tristen Cummings, and Alexis Deboard; and a special friend, Katrina Schmitt.
The family would also like to express their deepest appreciation to Jene and Tina with Cape Fear Valley Hospice and all brothers and sisters of Pat and Kenny.
