Larry Dean Barnhart

Larry Dean Barnhart, 66 of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born April 26, 1957 in Cumberland County, he is the son of the late Harry and Nina Barnhart.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Barnhart Workman and a brother, Anthony Keith Barnhart.

He is survived by daughters, Dottie Barnhart & fiancé Albert Warren and Erica Greco; grandchildren, Anthony Reilly, Diego Barnhart-Tinnan, Mya Cole, Michael Showalter and Kendra Showalter; great grandchildren, Presley Showalter and Memphis Showalter; sister, Sheila Earwood and a host of other family and friends.  

Larry worked as a foreman for Elk Yarn for over 20 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and playing bingo, and loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
