Larry Porter

Larry James Porter, 67 of Hope Mills, passed away Wednesday June 2, 2021 at his residence.

Born March 2, 1954 in Horry County, SC, Larry is the son of the late George Herman and Blanche Blanton Porter.

He is survived by his wife Joan Gail Porter; daughter, Stephanie Porter Karnes & husband Aaron David; step grandson, Hayden Karnes; granddaughters, Kensley Johnson and Anna Johnson; mother-in-law, Lydia Rozier; sisters, Gladys Oelberg, Violet Porter Smith, Elaine Shannon & husband Hollis, and Marilyn Tyner; brothers, Marshall Davis Porter, Roger Porter & wife Peggy, and Merritt Porter & wife Saundra; sister in law, Melinda Porter; and a host of other family and friends.
