Larry Trogdon

Larry Edward Trogdon, 68, of Fayetteville, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's, passed peacefully at home with his wife Terri and sister in law Debbie by his side.

He was preceded in death by parents, Iva and Herman Trogdon and brother, Thomas Trogdon.

Larry is survived by his wife Terri Trogdon; sons, Chris Allain and wife Michelle, Larry Trogdon, Jr., and Mark Trogdon; grandchildren, Cristy Allain, and Ryan and Tate Trogdon; sisters in law, Debbie Skinner and family and Charlotte Trogdon and Family; Jennifer Conway and family special companion, Sam; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins;

Loving thanks to those who were by our side through this journey; Massey Hill Baptist Church, Cape Fear Adult Day Care, Council on Aging Caregiver Support Group, Liberty Hospice, and many family and friends.

Larry graduated from Seventy First High School with perfect attendance. He was the owner of Eutaw Opticians until 1992, Produce Manager at Food Lion until 2011, then retired at the age of 62 to enjoy golf full time.

Larry and his brother Tom were not defined by Alzheimer's. They will help battle the affliction of A.D., having made brain donations to Columbia University of NY, to help others find a cure.
