Lauren Davis

HOPE MILLS - Lauren Elizabeth Davis, 18, of 5623 Miranda Drive in Hope Mills met her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 8th. Lauren died in a tragic car accident on Highway 301, but we will remember her for the way she lived.
Her outward beauty was matched only by her inward beauty and moral courage. She was always the first to laugh, smile and to offer help to others. Lauren had a generous, giving spirit and a passion for life.
A recent graduate of South View High School, Lauren was active in the marching band, and played the flute beautifully.
Lauren planned to attend college and major in forensic science, a field that she always found fascinating, and where she hoped she could serve others.
Lauren leaves behind many friends and family that adored her: father and stepmother, Dow and Shawn Davis of Hope Mills; mother and stepfather, Karen and Ivan Crawford of Greenville, NC; sister, Sarah Davis; bother, Tracey Davis; stepsisters Samantha Hamilton and Summer Accurso; stepbrother, Christopher Accurso; paternal grandparents, James and Shirley Davis; maternal grandmother, Patricia Fuller; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who all love her dearly.
As memorial to Lauren the family is accepting floral offerings. Due to Lauren's love for animals, memorials may be made to Animal Haven of Fayetteville.
