Leander Brewington

Mr. Leander Brewington, 89 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017, surrounded by family.

Born in Cumberland County, he was the son of Paul and Lillian Monroe Brewington. He is preceded in death by parents; a son, Jeffrey Ander Brewington; a sister, Paulette Locklear; and two brothers, Ernest and Ervin Brewington.

He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Padilla and husband Arthur of Fayetteville, Linda Henderson and husband Jessie of Fayetteville and Tammy Hales and husband Bryan of Raeford; a son, Randy Brewington and wife Barbara of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren a sister, Pauline Evans and husband Burl of Fayetteville; and a brother, Paul Daniel Brewington and wife Venus of Fayetteville.

Mr. Brewington loved gardening and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
