Leeila Smithman

Mrs. Leeila Holland Smithman, 86, of Eastover (formally of Fayetteville), died January 3, 2014.

She was born to Lonnie Edward and Daisy Sealey Holland on May 20, 1927 in Eastover, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest Reese Smithman.

She is survived by four children; Edward Lee Smithman and wife Joanie of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bobby Vascovich and wife Paoyun of Temecula, CA, James Richard Vascovich and wife Diane of Conway, SC, and Sabrina Smithman Ashmore and husband Raymond of Eastover, NC. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy H. Andrews of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Millls with Rev. Ronald Loftis officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday night at the funeral home.
