Lewis Blackwood

Lewis G. Blackwood, 87 of Fayetteville, passed away on September 21, 2022.

Born in Durham County, Lewis is the son of the late Theodore Blackwood and Betty Parker Blackwood. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Diana Blackwood; daughter, Debra Kay Blackwood Caulder; and sisters, Maxaline Oakley, Sue Sutton, and Wilma Adams.

Lewis is survived by his grandsons, Steven Caulder and wife Sandra, Brian Caulder and fiancée Brandi Hoskins; four great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hannah, and Brian Caulder II; sisters, Gail Kelly and Ann Ashley; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Lewis worked for Watson Electric in the Raleigh area before opening a branch in Fayetteville, where he dedicated  60 years of service to the company before retiring.   Lewis was a God-fearing man who was devoted to his family and a friend to all.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
