Linda Coryell

Linda Johnson Coryell, 68 of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

Born March 13, 1953 in Wichita Falls Texas, Linda is the daughter of late Ellis Johnson, Jr. and Berdie Mae Johnson.  She is also preceded in death by her brother, Johnnie Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Thompson “Tom” Coryell; a daughter, C. Michelle Smith and husband Jeremy K. Smith; three sons, Jeffrey W. Coryell and wife Beth Coryell, Matthew J. Coryell, and Marcus R. Coryell and wife Tina L. Coryell; three grandchildren, Oliver M. Smith, Joshua A. Coryell, and Julienne E. Coryell; and a brother, Charles Michael Johnson.

Linda was a Registered Nurse and practiced over 30 years providing care in a variety of settings including teaching and Home Health and Hospice Care. She also spent 30 years in Children’s Music Ministry at Stoney Point Baptist Church and Fellowship Baptist Church.  She enjoyed scrapbooking and other crafts.  She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed playing with them.  She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
