Lonnie Eddings

Lonnie Forest Eddings, better known to his friends as Junior, went to his heavenly reward  Saturday, November 24, 2012 with his loving dogs, Tanzy and Jasmine close by his side.



Junior was born June 21, 1959 at Travis Air Force Base to the late Forest and Ethel Norton Eddings.



Junior was a proud member of VFW Post 670 Auxiliary and Rolling Thunder.



Along with his parents Junior was predeceased by his Aunt Ola B.



Among those that will mourn his passing are sisters, Mae Carr and husband William of Hope Mills, Bunnie Parker and husband William of Hope Mills, Barbara Mendez and husband Ricardo of Fayetteville, Cathy Bailey of Fayetteville, Emma Thompson and husband Richie of Wade, Mary Hales of Mullins, SC; loving caretaker and "Second Mom" Linda Shelander and husband John of Fayetteville; his two special puppies, Tanzy and Jasmine; nine nieces; eight nephews; eleven great nieces; thirteen great nephews and a host of friends.



Visitation of family and friends will be held at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.



A celebration of Junior's life will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church at 4:00 PM with interment to follow at Cross Creek cemetery.
