She was born September 25, 1922 in Cumberland County to the late Simon Peter and Lula Norris Stewart.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills with interment to follow in Hodges Chapel Cemetery in Benson, North Carolina. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
Surviving are children, Hubert Suggs, Ray Suggs, Archie Suggs, John Knuckles , Lynda Knuckles, Sylvia Raymond; siblings, James Stewart, Junior Stewart, Ruth Barbour, Elizabeth Fourner, Louise Green, fourteen grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
