Margaret Chavis

Mrs. Margaret L. Chavis, 77, went home to be with her Lord on Monday May 24, 2010 after a long battle with Diabetes.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carlie Chavis and son James Chavis.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 3pm in Galilee Freewill Holiness Church, 3525 Sunnyside Road, Fayetteville, NC by the Rev. Jerry Groves. Burial will follow in Hope Mills Cemetery.

Mrs. Chavis is survived by daughters Brenda McDowell, Exine (Dee) Semel and her husband Lee, and Betsy Adorno; sons Bill Chavis and wife Ann, and David Chavis and wife Lisa; fifteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 pm at Pinecrest Funeral Service in Hope Mills
