Margaret Thompson

Margaret Ann Thompson was born December 20, 1939 in Danville, VA, to the late Roy and Bessie Murray Oakes. She died on Saturday, April 7, 2012.

Memorial services will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 8 PM at Friendship Baptist Church at 3232 Davis Street in Hope Mills.The Family will receive friends at the church from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Surviving are her husband, Gary G. Thompson; children, Robin Plummer and husband Steve, Mark Hawkins and wife Franziska, Robin Foreman and husband Greg, Tamara Stout; siblings, Kermit Oakes and wife Lois, Patricia Rudder and husband Larry, Julia Ilia; grandchildren Patrick Stokes and wife Emily, Natalie Stokes, Sarah Elizabeth Hawkins, Mary Katherine Hawkins, Michael Moss, Amy Duncan, Josh Lewis, Ian Foreman, Johnny Stout; great grandchildren, Jackson Stokes, Elizabeth Stokes, Deylan Duncan, Dreggor Duncan and Duane Duncan III.
