Martha Horne

Martha Nell Hall Horne, of Parkton, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Robeson County, Martha was the daughter of the late William and Nellie Hall. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Ray Steadman; first husband, David Steadman; second husband, William "Buddy" Horne; sister, Metarine Williams; and brothers, Conrad Hall, Eddie Hall, and Terrell Hall.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Klein and husband Michael of Joliet, IL; son, Robert Blake Steadman, Sr. of Parkton; brother, William Hall of Hope Mills; granddaughter, Angela Falsetti and husband Bradley of Concord, NC; grandson, Robert Blake Steadman II and wife Chelsea of Colorado Springs, CO; great granddaughter, Ariana Falsetti; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Kenny McMullen will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at Gilmont Cemetery in Hope Mills, followed by a reception at Martha's residence, 23155 US Hwy 301 North in Parkton.

Martha was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
