Mary Louise Bailey

Mary “Louise” Bailey, 78 of Hope Mills, entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Born May 9, 1945 in Hoke County, Louise is the daughter of the late Julia and James Dalton. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Frankie Butler and her brothers, Johnny and Buddy Dalton.

Louise is survived by her son, John R. Butler III of the home; son, Richard Eugene Butler of Fayetteville; stepdaughter, Renae Tillman; brother, Robert Dalton and wife Bonnie of Dunn; sister, Eva Dalton of Dunn; granddaughter, Tyler Emmanuel of Georgia; granddaughter, Kimberly Gibbons and husband Shawn of Cameron; grandson, Johnathan Butler and wife Courtney of Mamers; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces.

She was an avid fan of NASCAR and drag racing, and simply enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

Louise was a caring mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
