Mary Mclaurin

Mary Louise Baxley McLaurin, 76, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Tommie and Lillie Welsh Baxley. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Ray McLaurin; and her brother, Carl Sutton.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Kimberly McLaurin-Evans of Fayetteville; her son, Steven McLaurin and wife Shawn of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Justin and Miranda "Stevie" McLaurin, and Dakota, Zachary and Levi Evans; great grandchild, Raoh Chadwick; sisters, Sandra Billingsley of Iowa, and Katherine Godwin of Fayetteville; and her aunt, Mildred Lovette.

Louise was an avid gardener. She worked hard and liked to keep busy. She loved her babies and her animals.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
