Maxine Raynor

Maxine McLamb Thompkins Raynor of Southport died February 28, 2012 at J. A. Dosher Nursing Center in Southport, NC



She was born August 28, 1928 in Johnson County.  She worked at Holt Williamson Textile Manufacturing in Fayetteville for many years and was an avid racing fan.



She is survived by her husband, Richard Raynor of Fayetteville; children, Rita Rich (Jim) of Winnabow, NC, Patsy Keisler (Allison) of Holden Beach, NC, H. B. Thompkins (Sissy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brenda Holland ( Bernie) of Raeford, NC; brother, Leon Kroeker of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.



Mrs. Raynor is preceded in death by son, Ricky Raynor; father, Birchel Mclamb; mother, Lala Kroeker; and stepfather, Harry Kroeker.



A funeral service will be held at 4:00, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills.  Burial to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
