McKinley "Macky" Farris Hall, Jr., 85, of Hope Mills, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Fayetteville.
Born July 23, 1933 in Cumberland County, Macky was the son of the late McKinley Farris Hall, Sr. and Beulah Brown Hall. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Horace Hall, and sisters, Grace Weir, Ida Belle Berry, and Kathryn Parlett.
Macky is survived by his wife, Peggy Hall; sons, Gary Hall of Hope Mills and David Hall of Aberdeen; daughter, Kay Swanson and husband Tommy of Angier; two grandchildren, Holden and Andrea Swanson; three stepdaughters, Deborah Campbell and husband Les of Raeford, Melissa Rohe and husband Doug of Lincoln, NE, and Rachel Gordy and husband Jon of Tampa, FL; eleven step grandchildren; one great step grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.
Macky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
