Michelle Leonard

Michelle Louise Leonard, aged 41 and living in Fayetteville, passed away on March 25, 2017.

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, she was the daughter of Mike and Lee Leonard. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Paul Leonard.

She is survived by her two sons, JD and Jack.

Her loss is also mourned by her parents, Mike and Lee Leonard (of Fayetteville, NC), her brother, David Leonard (of Don Benito, Spain), her sister-in-law Amelia Leonard of Bismarck, ND, her sister; Heather and Jim Peay (of Falls Church, VA), and ten nieces and nephews.
Michelle had a kind heart; she was always putting the needs of other people before her own.

Her generosity didn't stop with people; she often adopted rescue animals from shelters. She was an avid gardener.
She had a talent for fashion and cosmetology.

Her heart, before anything else, was reserved for her two sons. Everything good about her can still be seen today in her children.
