Milton White, Jr.

U.S. Army MSG (Ret.) Milton H. White, Jr., 85 of Hope Mills, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in his home.

Born in Yonkers, NY, Milton is the son of the late Kurt Rugamer and Natalie M. Rugamer. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. White and daughter, Melinda L. White.

Serving in the Army from 1952 until 1972, Milton was a veteran of the Korean War with the 2nd Infantry Division and the Vietnam War with the Special Forces (ABN) “Green Berets”.

He is survived by his son, Robert K. White; son, Randel T. White; daughter, Melisa L. White; grandchildren, Robert K. White, Jr., Jessica C. White, Gene White, and Shawn Minosky; and a host of other family and friends.

Milton was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
