Mitch Adam Ladwig, 58, of Hope Mills, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Fayetteville.
Born July 24, 1960 in Tacoma, WA, Mitch was the son of Joyce LaRue Ladwig and the late James Ladwig. As a teenager, he joined the U.S. Army where he diligently served with the Military Police before retiring as a Staff Sergeant. During his military career, Mitch was the recipient of numerous medals and awards. He would later work as a rental property manager, handling several properties with utmost professionalism. Mitch loved life, his family, his friends...and the Minnesota Vikings!
He is survived by his wife, Michele Ladwig; daughters, Melissa Barber and husband Chris, Allison Ladwig, and Brittany Ladwig and husband Dennis VanValkenburg; grandchildren, Kaylee Graham, Madison Rogers-Barber, Cali Graham, Hailey Barber, Adam Barber, and Bristol VanValkenburg; mother, Joyce Ladwig Anderson and husband Andy; brother, Mark Ladwig and wife Terry; sister, Stacy Scott and husband Leon; brother, Mathew Ladwig and wife Tina; best friend, Tim Watts, and a host of other family and friends.
Mitch was a loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
