Myron Davis

Mr. "Bill" Myron Earl Davis, 89, of 3621 Marcliff Road, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Davis was a U.S. Navy Veteran, loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron Hobart Davis and Lillie Maultsby Davis, a sister Hilda Davis Walker; and a twin brother Hobart Charles Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter and caretaker Stephanie Davis McDowell and two granddaughters, Alexis and Mercedes McDowell of Hope Mills. Mr. Davis is survived by three other daughters, Anita Davis Whitmire and husband Steve, of Yorktown, VA, Rebekah Davis Hardison and husband Ken, of Kannapolis, NC, and Deborah Davis Moore and husband Bob, of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight other grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother Howard Davis and wife Martha; and nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a private service in his honor.
