Myrtle Gautier

Myrtle Johnson Gautier, 96, of Hope Mills, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Born June 10, 1922 in St. Pauls, NC, Myrtle was the daughter of Leon and Melvinie Johnson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Gautier; son, John David Gautier, Jr.; and brothers, Robert Johnson and Harvey Johnson.

Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Gautier Palmisano; sons, Lloyd Gautier, Leroy Gautier, and Franklin Gautier; sisters, Helen Furches and Betty Lou Hyman; brothers, Owen Harris, Alex Harris, Sidney Harris, and Thomas Davis; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Family Life Center at Hope Mills Church of God, 4830 Cameron Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.

Myrtle was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
