Ok Kyung Thornsberry

Ok Kyung Thornsberry, a loving and dedicated mother of 2 children, passed away at 65 years old on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

Ok Kyung was born on January 30, 1955 in Yecheon, South Korea. She was a track star athlete and graduated high school in February 1973. She loved to knit and take care of her younger siblings. She enjoyed adventure and had a green thumb for gardening and plants. She opened a restaurant in South Korea before marrying and moving to the United States. While in the United States, she became a single mother, which led to her to study to become a barber. As a single mother, Ok Kyung supported her 2 children, Randy and Lexy. Ok Kyung was a dear friend and mother. She had pure love for her family and her legacy will continue through her Son and Daughter.

Ok Kyung was survived by her Son, Randall Thornsberry, daughter, Alexandria Thornsberry, 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Her predecessors are her Father, Jae Soo Hwang, and Mother, Soon Bong Lee.
