Onnie Batson

Onnie Wease Batson, 91, of Lumberton, passed away on November 29, 2022.

Born in Sampson County, Onnie is the daughter of the late Walter and Ella Holland. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Batson.

Onnie is survived by her daughter, Linda B. Tyson and husband Michael of Lumberton; sister, Jean Westbrook and husband Carl of Monroe; grandsons, Jonathan Tyson and wife Rachel of Creedmoor, and Adam Tyson and wife Anna of Hampstead; and two great granddaughters.

Onnie greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
