Patricia Lewis

Patricia Ann Carter Lewis, 71, of Valdese, NC, formerly of Hope Mills, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Shaire Center in Lenoir.

Born August 1, 1948 in Greeneville, TN, Patricia was the daughter of the late Claude Addison Carter and Barbara Cox Carter.

Two of her greatest loves in life were her many years spent teaching children at Baldwin Elementary School in Hope Mills, and building her spirituality through church.

Patricia is survived by her son, Larry Wayne Lewis, Jr, and his wife Donna of Granite Falls, NC; daughter, Barbara Ann Lewis of Valdese, NC; son, Bryan Lewis and wife Jonna of Valdese, NC; grandchildren, Myranda Parrish, Carter Lewis, Evan Lewis, Hannah Moore, Bryanna Lewis, and Emma Lewis; great grandchildren, Cannon Parrish, Johnathon Montgomery, and Cora Moore; sister, Mary George; brother, Claude Addison Carter, Jr,; and a host of other family members and friends.

Patricia will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
