Pauline Brantley

Pauline Dees Brantley, 90, a life-long resident of Hope Mills, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center.  She was a member of Lafayette Baptist Church and a retiree of Dixie Yarns Manufacturing Co., Cumberland Plant.



Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Buck" Brantley, and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by a brother, Floyd Dees; a sister, Lois Smith, both of Hope Mills; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and loving neighbors Edina Amundsen and sons.



The family will receive friends Saturday morning, April 21, 2012, from 10:00-10:45 followed by a "Celebration of Life" service in the Pinecrest Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00.  Dr. Brian Lee and Dr. Robbie Byrd will conduct the service.  A private burial will be at Lafayette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Haggai Project", Lafayette Baptist Church, 501 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.



Pauline touched the lives of many. She was a hard worker, a loving wife, sister, and aunt.  There are no words that can express how much she will be missed.
