Phillip Jackson

Mr. Phillip Murray Jackson, 68, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, at First Health Hospice in Pinehurst. He was a former resident of Grays Creek, Southern Pines, and Durham before residing in Little River, South Carolina.

Born in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late James and Allie Musselwhite Jackson. He is also preceded in death by an infant son, Phillip Murray Jackson Jr.

He is survived by a son, Paul A. Jackson of Cameron; a granddaughter, Macey Jackson; two brothers, Jimmy Jackson an wife Linda of St. Pauls, and Terry Jackson and wife Maria of St. Cloud, Minnesota.

While living in Southern Pines, he worked for United Telephone Company, before working in commercial real estate throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. He was the President of Murray Commercial Properties. He enjoyed travelling and was known for always telling everyone, "What's Your Rush."
Mr. Jackson will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
