Preston Holder

Preston Nelson Holder, 78, of Fayetteville, died December 17, 2014.

Born in Harnett County, he is the son of the late Joseph and Willa Holder. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dwight Holder, a brother, Leon Holder, sisters, Myrtle Mason, Janie Womble and Velva Norton.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hollyfield of the home; sons, Barry West and wife Billie of Fayetteville, Micheal West and wife Marsha of Hope Mills, Preston Holder of Charlotte; a brother, Joseph Holder and wife Alpha of Lillington; sisters, Mary and Willa Holder of Sanford; step-sons, Jimmie Garris and wife Susan of Pine Bluff, and Rayvon Wiggins and wife Trisha of Perry, Georgia; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Mr. Holder graduated from Boone Trail High School and Pfeiffer University and retired from Kmart Corporation. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
