Raeford Brewington

Raeford Lee Brewington, known as Ray to most people was born March 16, 1941 to the late Johnny and Rossie Brewington in Sampson county.

Ray worked many years as a technician for a copying company and after retirement helped his wife Deloris in the florist shop. Ray had a cheerful smile that was presented with each delivery he made.

On Wednesday, July 27th God reached down with his great hand of mercy and took Ray home to his reward.

Among those left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife, Deloris; daughters Adrienne McPhaul, Katie and Kimberly Brewington; sisters Ophelia Maynard, Joanna Chance, Beverly Ennis, Jean Murdock; brothers, Kenneth and Henry Brewington; grandchildren, Kasey Regan, Joshua Tamicho; great grnchildren, Janiya and Isaiah Ragan; extended family, Connie Regan and Petro Tamicho.
