Rang Van Lu, 78 of Hope Mills, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Born October 15, 1943 in Vietnam, Rang and his family eventually moved to North Carolina in 1978 after being sponsored by MacPherson Presbyterian Church, where he remained a long time member. He was also a member of Vietnamese-American Fayetteville Baptist Church. For several years, he owned and operated B & B Food Mart in Hope Mills.
Rang was preceded in death by his wife, Thu Lu and his son, Tuan Lu. He is survived by his daughter, Peny Lu and a host of other family and friends.
Rang will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
