Raymond "Pete" Mason, Sr.

Raymond “Pete” Edward Mason, Sr., 83, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 in his home with family by his side.

Born in Cumberland County, Pete was the son of the late Herman and Clydabelle Lee Mason.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Mason and his wife Sandra Kay; son, Raymond Edward Mason, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Mason; stepson, Kenneth Tyndall; brother, Earl Mason and his wife Mary Lee; sister, Helen Norris; granddaughter, Melissa Kay Mason; grandson, Jeffrey Allen Mason, his fiancee Alexis Wright, and their children, Devon Mason, Madison Mason and Theo Mason; grandson, Shane Mathers; granddaughter, Christina Watson and her three children; granddaughter, Crystal Cook, her husband Brad, and their daughter, Kylee Cook; grandson, Raymond E. Mason III, his wife Candice, and their children, Chloe Mason, Jackson Mason, and Raylan Mason; grandson, Joshua Culbreth, granddaughter, Taylor Marshall; granddaughter, Brittney Marshall; grandson, Timothy Jeanes and his fiancee Ashley Johnson; grandson, Justin Everette, his wife Linda, and their children, Memphis Everette and Mason Everette; grandson, William Wrench; granddaughter, Patience Wrench and her son, Zane Tew; granddaughter, Jacqueline Tyndall; grandson, Janzen Tyndall; and a host of other family and friends.

Pete will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
