Renee Casey

Renee Martin Casey, 55 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Center with her family by her side.

She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Alfred and Anne Martin. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mike; her son, Sean (fiancée Dana) of Fayetteville; brother, Randy (Kathy) of Yadkinville; sister, Cindy (Jeff) Jones of Fayetteville, nieces, Jessica Martin, Brittany Vaughan, Jamie Kroll, and Amber Hayes; and nephews, Brandon Martin and Daniel Hayes.

Renee graduated from Southview High School in 1984 where she was a member of the Marching Tigers Band.

Renee held various careers during her lifetime. She worked for a local attorney when she met her soulmate Mike. She went on to become a store manager at the former Knight Brothers store in Gray’s Creek, a DMV Title clerk, insurance agent for Woodmen Life, Independent Sales Director for Mary Kay, Counter Manager for Clinique of Belk's in Lumberton, and lastly Office Manager for Nissan of Lumberton.

In the last couple years of her life, she was diagnosed to have Muscular Dystrophy which lead to her becoming a homemaker.

Renee was a beloved wife, mother and aunt and friend. She was also an adopted mom to the many friends of her son Sean. She was a devoted Christian who lived her life to the fullest as she was able. She always had a smile for everyone she met.
