Richard Register

Richard "Allie" Register, 84, of Hope Mills, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born on May 7, 1932 in Sampson County, he was the son of the late Lucille and Preston Register. Allie worked as a car salesman and lifelong automotive mechanic.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Register and son, Richie Register.

Allie leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Renee Register McLaney and husband Mac of Fayetteville, Cindy Jacobs and husband Haywood of Hope Mills, and Amy Altland and husband Rickey of Fayetteville; sisters, Lessie May Tyndel and Wanda Faye Horne, both of Wade; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Allie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
