Rickey Black

Rickey Carroll Black, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018.

Born October 6, 1946 in Forrest City, Arkansas, Rickey was the son of the late Earnest Darrell Black and Patricia Tipton Black.

He served in the U.S. Army as part of the 82nd Division Cavalry Unit, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his dedicated service to our country, Rickey later worked as a home inspector for real estate agencies.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Black of the home; daughter, Karen Cooper and her husband Brian of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Katherine Cooper and grandson, Kota Cooper, both of Fayetteville; a host of nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

Rickey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
