Robert Harris

Robert Sidney Harris, 85 of Hope Mills, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Born August 8, 1936 in Robeson County, Robert is the son of the late Roy and Trulie Ross Harris. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Harris.

Robert is survived by a daughter, Susan Matthews and husband Robert; a son, Danny Harris and wife Susan; grandchildren, TJ, Shaun, Danielle, Elizabeth, Amy, Dylan, Andrew, and Steven; great grandchildren, Spencer, Penelope, Nolan; siblings, Owen Harris, Alex Harris and wife Ella Mae, Helen Furches and husband Junior, Thomas Davis and wife Betty, and Betty Lou Hyman and husband Sterling; and a host of other family members and friends.

Robert was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
