Robert Swain

Robert Milton Swain, 74 of Fayetteville, passed away on February 16, 2023.

Born in Cumberland County, Milton was the son of the late Lester Carson and Geneva Herring Swain. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Mina King, Marie Pierce, and Chris Faulkner; and his brothers, Lawrence Swain, and Lynwood Swain.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Swain; sons, Robb Swain and wife Tricia, Steve Swain and wife Jennifer; daughter, Tammy Pilkington and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Robbie & wife Jackie, Ryan & wife Morgan, Meaghan & husband Robert, Josh, Jacob, and Dimitry; and his great grandchildren, Robbie, Kenzie, Hailey, Robert, Mason, and Remi.

In his spare time, Milton enjoyed various hobbies which included working on cars, building things, collecting coins, and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, and brother. Milton will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
