Roberta Cole

Roberta "Kit" Carpenter Cole, 73, of Hope Mills, passed away Monday, August 3,2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born November 26, 1946 in Columbus, OH, Kit was the daughter of the late Robert Aden and Betty Jane Tracy Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie "Ping" Cole; son, Chad Cole and wife Teresa of Hope Mills; daughter, Tracy McLeod and husband Randy of Hope Mills; son, Brad Cole and wife Melissa of Hope Mills; grandchildren, Ally McLeod, Madilyn Cole, Marlee Cole, Roy Fulcher and wife Annie,and Brittany Fulcher; great granddaughter, Layah Gonzales; brothers, Dennis Carpenter and wife Barbara of Ohio, Randy Carpenter and wife Vicki of Fayetteville, Jim Carpenter and wife Deborah of Apex, NC, Ricky Carpenter of Norfolk, VA, and John Carpenter and wife Michelle of Indianapolis, IN; sisters-in-law, Helen Townsend and husband Don, and Becky Gilliland and husband Mike; and a host of other family members and friends.

Kit was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
