Rosa Santellano

Rosa Santellano (Echartea), 63, of Fayetteville, went to be with the lord on Friday, May 17, 2019.

She was born in Brownsville, Texas on March 23, 1956, but resided in Bay City, Michigan. She graduated from John Glenn High School in 1974. She started employment at Sunrise Family Credit Union in 1989 and retired after 30 years in 2018. Upon retirement, she moved to Fayetteville,  North Carolina to be closer to family.

She is survived by her mother, Estella Echartea; sister, Maria (Robert) Franek; brothers, Lionel Echartea and Marty Echartea; son, Steven (Chantal) Santellano; niece, Tryna (Jay) Gripentrog; grandchildren, Cameren Hawkins and Selena Santellano; step sons, Kris and JR Kozubal; nephew, Jason Gripentro; and niece, Jordin Gripentrog.

Rosa is proceeded in death by her father, Cecilio Echartea and life partner, Theodore Kozubal.

Upon request no funeral service will be held. Rosa will be cremated by Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services of Hope Mills.

Lord God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
