Rosie Ford

Mrs. Rosie Hardee Ford, 70, of 3711 Hardeewood Drive in Hope Mills, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.

She was the daughter of the late Harvey Hardee and Lillie Westbrook Hardee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Quincy, Dennis, Ed, and Charles; and sister, Lillie.

Mrs. Ford had 20 years of service as a cook with the Cumberland County School System.

Due to increment weather the visitation and service times have changed. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb 14, 2014 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills. Burial will follow at Hardee Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband, Gary Ford; three sons, Gary Lee, Jr. and wife Lisa, Dennis and wife Renee, and Brian and wife Susan; eight grandkids, Paige, Lauren, Baylee, Haleigh, Dennis, Jr. (DJ), Camden, Peyton, and a little one on the way; a brother, Wayne; three sisters, Bobbie, Ann, and Lynda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ford was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
